Educational R&D Institute creates methods, materials and processes to give children a firm foundation in the basic skills necessary for a future of successful learning at a mastery level.

Super Basic Skills 3.0 is the culmination of Ann Duggan’s lifelong pursuit of equipping young children with the tools necessary for educational success. As a public elementary school teacher for many years, Ann Duggan  (Ms. Anny) designed, used and adapted these materials and processes to be suitable for elementary school classrooms, remedial education, special education, ESL, immigrant and immigrant children, home schoolers and adult education.

Formerly known as ‘Ms. Anny / Send Them On’

The Super Basic Skills (SBS) seeks to revolutionize elementary education by fixing the fundamental flaws in the existing foundation of Pre-K and Kindergarten. By providing methods, materials and processes, SBS gives young children the training and monitoring needed for a future of successful mastery learning.

Super Basic Skills 3.0: Essential Curriculum
The SUPER BASIC SKILLS educational materials and activities teach 18 basic areas of learning for a nine (9) month school year.

The SUPER BASIC SKILLS
Engages students by making learning fun and easy while utilizing both academic and applied learning sciences, including a phonetics program that breaks down reading skills into color-coded, creative and manageable lessons.

Enables students to learn by organizing their brain (file and retrieval) with ordered incremental lessons that stack one upon the other, while maintaining a continued practice of earlier skills and paced-learning.

Empowers teachers and parent/caregivers by incorporating them into the learning and accountability processes. As well as supplying tried and successful curriculum and teaching methods, comprised of an extensive “cross-curriculum” body of knowledge necessary for a foundation of future educational success.

Expects student success by focusing on what the student CAN do and what the teacher/parent/caretaker CAN teach to obtain mastery of the basics. (not by what students and teachers have failed to do by arbitrary lesson plan deadlines).

Ensures that students master ALL the basic skills needed for a future of successful learning. By tracking students’ progress with specific and consistent testing that isolates individual needs, SBS monitors individual learning to ensure mastery of learning in all areas of education.
